Update.

A quick update,

I wanted to pass along an audio track I was asked to put on my site for a while now. It's a track I created for the AnimationMentor Student Showcase last year. It's up in the Music/Misc section.

For those who asked, sorry it took so long to post the mp3...I completely forgot about it until today. I upgraded some equipment at home (including audio stuff) so I finally get to go back into doing music/audio. My previous machine wasn't keeping up with large files/multiple tracks/HD resolution, etc. So it's been nice to get back to some of that.

In the last couple of months I've been working on personal stuff. Not as much as I'm trying to find a balance between my work at Pixar (things are getting busier), doing creative stuff outside work and still have a life to enjoy. So in the last few months, I've been doing more live-action shooting tests for a horror shortfilm. Being a hardcore fan of Sesame Street and the Muppet show, I always wanted to shoot something with it. Here are some prod stills of some lighting tests we shot with the help of my good friend Rachel who will be my DP/Lighting Supervisor.

It'll take sometime to get the short done. The final puppet is still being built (the one in the images is a temp puppet borrowed from my coworker). Anyways, off to bed.
Have a great week everyone.

Carlos.
